Domenico Coco, born on 5 April 2013, is a young Italian karting driver who, despite his age, has already built an impressive record across national and international competition.

His motorsport story was born from a passion for karting and has grown quickly through years of racing, training and battles with some of the best young drivers of his generation.

First steps01
The early days

First steps

Domenico starts racing very young and, already in the junior categories, stands out for his speed, determination and a particular talent for fighting back.

In 2020 come his first real races, in Entry Level in the ACI Lazio Regional Championship, finished in P3: one of his first significant results. In 2021 he steps up to 60 Mini, again in the Lazio Regional: the start of a path that soon takes him to Italy's main circuits.

2022 is one of the first important seasons of his career. In the 60 Mini category, with Modena Kart, he is a leading figure in the Italian Championship: the wins at Ugento and Castelletto, the podium at Sarno and the fight for the top positions until the Val Vibrata round.

Taking on the world

From 2023 the level of competition rises even further.

Domenico enters the world of WSK competition, racing against drivers from many countries and taking top-ten finishes in both WSK and the Italian Championship.

It is a key step in his development: new tracks, international rivals and an ever higher technical level all help him mature as a driver.

In 2023 he joins the official CRG team, one of the most successful brands in world karting: he races with the CRG Racing Team and works with the engineers on chassis development. In 2024 he moves to Kalì Kart, again with an official programme and involvement in the technical development of chassis and engines.

2024 brings three wins in the Zone 4 Italian Cup, at Arce (twice) and Artena, third place in the final standings and the podium at the Champions Cup.

He races 2025, his last year in Mini Gr.3, with TK Racing / TK Factory: pole position at Ugento, consistent top-ten results, second place at the Pagliuca Trophy in Sarno and second in the Champions Cup final.

From October 2025 he begins his first tests in OK-N Junior, the category for which he obtains his international licence.

The move to OK-N Junior

In 2026 Domenico begins a new chapter of his career, moving up to the OK-N Junior category.

With KGT Motorsport Roma, on Tony Kart – Vortex equipment, he continues his development in national karting.

The start of the season brings a significant result straight away.

At the Zone 3 Italian Cup at Sora, after a difficult pre-final in which contact forces him to start from ninth, Domenico puts together a superb comeback and takes the win in the final.

In WSK competition too he shows one of the traits that over the years has become part of his racing style: never giving up when a race gets difficult.

At Viterbo, after qualifying and heats affected by some bad luck, he makes up plenty of places in both the pre-final and the final.

The selection

Above all, 2026 marks Domenico's arrival on the international stage through the FIA Karting Academy Trophy Junior.

Being selected allows him to represent Italy in a competition in which young drivers from many countries go head to head on regulated equipment, under extremely uniform technical conditions.

It is a challenge in which the driver, adaptability and race management play a decisive role.

A story still being written

Domenico is thirteen.

Behind every result are thousands of kilometres driven, days of testing, training, mistakes, comebacks, defeats and wins.

From Italian karting to international racing, the journey continues with the same goal it started with: to grow with every lap.

The next chapter is still to be written.
